Jaime McCutcheon is a weekend evening co-anchor and reporter for Channel Six News.
Jaime came to WOWT-TV in March 2006. Before her stop in Omaha, Jaime worked as a weekend anchor and reporter for WMAZ-TV in Macon, Georgia, and before that, a reporter for KDLT-TV in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She got her start in television news at a small cable station outside Atlanta, G-NET. Jaime attended the Grady School of Journalism at the University of Georgia where she earned her degree in Mass Communications.
Jaime is trying to adjust to the colder winters of Nebraska. After all, she was born and raised in the Florida Keys where it feels like summer almost year-round and then moved to the North Georgia mountains where a dusting of snow is cause for concern. She’s also spent time living overseas, first in England during college and then a six month stay in Germany after college.
When she’s not hitting the streets to bring you the news, you can find Jaime spending time with her two adorable dogs. She also loves to travel and cook when she can find time.
