Bryan Latham joined the Daybreak team and Weekend Live show in November 2007 from KPVI in Pocatello, Idaho. There he was involved in many aspects of the operation. He was the 9 p.m. anchor and sports anchor for the FOX station and was the nightside reporter. On Fridays, he was the sideline reporter for the high school Sports Zone.
Getting into television has been an interesting path. After graduating the University of Western, Ontario Canada, he moved back to his home town Seattle, WA and worked in marketing for a small company in the vending machine business.
Pushing his west coast ties, strong love for bump skiing and Husky Football aside, on a whim, he packed his bags and moved to Toronto where he worked for Global Television. There he wrote and edited sports highlights for a half-hour nightly sports show.
While having never even set foot in the Midwest before moving to Omaha, his only real knowledge of Nebraska was football -- what it was and what it had become. He will proudly tell you prefers the former.
Thus far he is thoroughly enjoying all the good food in town and friendly people. When not on the air ways he can be found playing golf (see bunker), staying active and hopefully having a great time, no matter what the activity.
