Jim Siedlecki joined the WOWT Daybreak team as a news anchor in June of 2005. Prior to his arrival at WOWT Siedlecki worked alongside Malorie Maddox anchoring the night side news at a station in Southwest Missouri where he also served as assistant news director.
Jim started his broadcast career in sports, winning an Edward R. Murrow Award for sports reporting in 2001. Having lived in every time zone, Siedlecki calls Omaha "The Best Kept Secret in America". When not working at the station you can find Jim spending time with his wife Kim and their three children at the park. He also lists golf and fishing as his hobbies.
