Malorie Maddox is co-anchor of Live at Daybreak seen weekdays on Channel Six, and a consumer investigator for Six On Your Side.
Malorie moved to Omaha from Joplin, Missouri where she was the main anchor for KODE. Before that, Malorie worked for KAKE in Wichita, KS as a consumer investigator. While at KAKE, Malorie won a Kansas Area Broadcasters Award for her undercover work on the investigative series “Bad Judgment.”
Malorie is an advocate for Breast Cancer Awareness. In Joplin she founded a program called Buddy Check 12, which raised more than $10,000 for breast cancer treatments and programs. She also won the “Missouri Young Careerist” state award, and volunteered for the Alzheimer’s Association and the MDA.
Malorie is a graduate of the University of Kansas, where she was a student producer for the Roy Williams Show. She grew up in Wellington, Kansas, and says she loves working in the Midwest.
