Originally from Denver, Colorado, Justin is excited to make Omaha and Channel 6 his home.
Justin makes the big move from Wyoming, where he reported and hosted a weekly talk-show for the CBS affiliate in Cheyenne.
Before making the transition to television broadcasting, for three years, Justin prosecuted every type of crime as a senior deputy district attorney in Denver, Colorado.
Why the change?
Justin says, "I grew up during the O.J. Simpson trial and thought being a legal analyst for a network was my calling. After covering my first breaking-news story, however, I knew I could never be tied down to just one area of the news."
In his time in Wyoming, Justin won numerous awards including the Wyoming Association of Broadcasters' "Best Overall News Reporter" and "Best Breaking News Coverage." He also won the Wyoming Associated Press' awards for "Best Breaking News Coverage," "Best News Series" and "Best Feature."
