LeAnne Morman is an Omaha native. Always interested in news and current events, she caught the broadcasting bug early at 16, when she began anchoring the morning newscasts at Omaha Northwest High School.

After high school, she attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha and graduated in 2006 with a degree in Broadcast Journalism.

LeAnne started her professional career a few months after graduation as a photojournalist in the Omaha area.

In fall of 2007, she was hired on as a Backpack Journalist at WOWT.
