Three Storm Chasers, Four Cubs In Triple-A All-Star Game

Three Omaha Storm Chasers and four members of the Iowa Cubs are in Durham, North Carolina for Wednesday night's Triple-A All-Star Game.

They are on the Pacific Coast League squad that will face the International League’s best in the game broadcast by the MLB Network starting at 6 p.m.

Outfielder Paulo Orlando, catcher Francisco Pena and reliever Spencer Patton represent the Chasers, though Patton was traded earlier in the day by the parent Kansas City Royals to the Texas Rangers for pitcher Jason Frasor.

Second baseman Arismendy Alcantara, closer Blake Parker and starting pitchers Kyle Hendricks and Tsuyoshi Wada represent Iowa, the first time the Cubs have had four players selected to the Triple-A All-Star Game since the event started in 1988.
