The Storm Chasers out-hit the Sounds 10-6, but committed three errors in a 4-1 loss Sunday afternoon in Nashville.
Logan Schafer singled, took second on an infield grounder and scored on a throwing error by second baseman Anthony Seratelli to give the Sounds a 1-0 lead in the first.
They made it 3-0 in the third as Eric Farris walked and Schafer and Cesar Izturis both reached on bunt singles to load the bases. Travis Ishikawa walked in a run and Schafer scored when Andy Gonzalez grounded into a double play.
The Storm Chasers got on the board in the sixth. Tony Abreu singled, went to second on an infield ground out and scored on a Seratelli single.
Andy Gonzalez led off the home half of the sixth with his fifth home run to make it 4-1.
Wily Peralta (2-8) got the win, pitching 5.2 innings, giving up one run on eight hits, striking out six and walking two. Mike Montgomery (3-3) went six innings for Omaha, charged with four runs (three earned) on six hits, striking out three and walking three.
