Storm Chasers Sweep Isotopes 3-2, 3-2

The Storm Chasers swept Albuquerque by identical scores of 3-2 Friday night at Werner Park.

Xavier Nady doubled home David Lough in the sixth to give the Storm Chasers the win in game one. Omaha took a 2-0 lead in the third on Anthony Seratelli’s two-run homer.

The Isotopes tied it in the fifth. Scott Van Slyke singled and Nick Buss homered.

Donnie Joseph (1-0) got the win and Blake Johnson (1-1) took the loss.

Van Slyke's first-inning sacrifice fly in game two scored Dee Gordon for a 1-0 Albuquerque lead. Alex Castellanos' RBI single plated Gordon in the third to make it 2-0.

Max Ramirez knocked a two-run double in the home third to tie the game. Brett Hayes singled with the bases loaded in the fifth for the deciding run, making a winner of Chaser starter Nate Adcock (2-0).

Angel Castro (1-1) was charged with the loss.
