The Storm Chasers hit a pair of home runs, but came up short to Sacramento 4-3 Sunday afternoon at Werner Park.
Omaha took a 1-0 lead in the first on Chris Getz's first home run of the season.
The River Cats answered in the second. Michael Choice singled and after Michael Taylor flied out, Jake Goebbert and David Freitas walked to load the bases. Anthony Aliotti singled home Choice, Andy Parrino walked to force in Goebbert and Jemile Weeks singled to score Freitas and make it a 3-1 game.
The Storm Chasers got a run in the fourth. With the bases loaded and Manny Pina at the plate, Travis Banwart (8-5) unleashed a wild pitch allowing Brian Fletcher to score.
Sacramento went up 4-2 in the fifth. Shane Peterson tripled and scored on Choice's sacrifice fly to center. Omaha closed to within 4-3 in the seventh on Christian Colon's 11th homer.
Omaha starter Everett Teaford (4-4) went six innings, charged with all four runs on eight hits. He struck out six and walked three.
