Three home runs helped power the Storm Chasers to a 5-1 win over Nashville Sunday afternoon at Werner Park.

David Lough’s 10th homer of the year gave Omaha a 1-0 lead in the second. Two more jacks in the fifth made it a 3-0 game. Rey Navarro knocked his first over the right field wall and following Cody Clark’s ground out, Irving Falu also went deep to right, his sixth home run of the season.

The Sounds got on the scoreboard in the sixth. Jordan Brown’s single, Taylor Green’s double and a Khris Davis walk loaded the bases. Brown scored when Caleb Gindl grounded out to second.

The Storm Chasers made it 5-1 in the seventh. Two walks and a single loaded the bases for Anthony Seratelli, who singled home Navarro. Wil Myers’ infield single plated Falu.

Jake Odorizzi (10-2) went seven innings for the win, giving up one run on four hits with two strikeouts and two walks. Hiram Burgos (0-2) lasted six innings, charged with three runs on six hits, striking out three and walking two.
