Clark Blast In Ninth Gives Storm Chasers 10-7 win

Cody Clark’s three-run homer in the bottom of the ninth lifted the Storm Chasers to a 10-7 win over Oklahoma City Sunday afternoon at Werner Park.

Scott Moore homered in the first to give the RedHawks a 1-0 lead. Omaha held leads of 2-1, 4-3 (on Clint Robinson’s two-run blast in the third), 7-4 and 7-5 before the RedHawks tied it in the ninth on Justin Ruggiano’s two-run homer.

In the home ninth, Jason Bourgeois singled, but Derrick Robinson popped out to catcher Carlos Corporan trying to bunt and Johnny Giavotella was called out on strikes.

Bourgeois stole second and advanced to third on a throwing error by Corporan. Juan Abreu (0-2) intentionally walked Clint Robinson to get to Clark, who sent it over the right field fence for the Storm Chasers' second-straight walk-off win.

Roman Colon (2-0) got the win.
