Kansas State completed a weekend sweep of Nebraska Omaha on Sunday, pounding the Mavericks 10-2 in Manhattan. The Wildcats outscored the visitors in the three games by a 33-11 margin.
Jared King went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and four RBIs for KSU while Robert Youngdahl (2-1) limited the Mavs to one run on six hits in four innings.
Freshman Cole Volkers (1-2) took the loss, allowing four runs on five hits over five innings, walking three and striking out one.
The Wildcats improved to 22-27, leaving UNO at 12-35.
