UNO Bounces Bulldogs 6-3
Dominic Zombo and Ryan Walters had three points apiece as Nebraska Omaha beat Minnesota-Duluth 6-3 Sunday afternoon at the CenturyLink Century for a sweep of their weekend series.
Zombo had two goals and an assist and Walters had one goal and two assists for the Mavericks (6-3-1, 4-1-1), who won Saturday night's game 3-2.
UNO scored two goals in each period. It was a one-goal game before Walters' goal at 6:38 of the third. Brent Gwidt added another goal at 11:41.
Mike Seidel, Austin Farley and Joe Basaraba scored for UMD (2-5-1, 0-3-1). Farley also had an assist.
John Faulkner made 31 saves for the Mavericks and Matt McNeely had 22 for the Bulldogs.
