Archibald Hat Trick Lifts Mavericks 8-4
Josh Archibald's hat trick helped Nebraska Omaha to an 8-4 win over Colorado College Friday night at CenturyLink Center Omaha.
Archibald netted his third goal short-handed with :41 to play. He also scored even-strength in the first and on a power play in the second for the Mavericks (12-8-1, 8-4-1).
Mike Boivin also scored three goals at even strength, on the power play and short-handed for the Tigers (9-10-2, 6-6-1).
Ryan Walters had a goal and three assists and Matt White added a goal and two assists for UNO. Tanner Lane had two goals for the Mavericks, who got 26 saves from goalie John Faulkner.
