Andrew Ribeiro's goal in the second overtime lifted Creighton to a 1-0 win over Southern Illinois-Edwardsville Saturday night at Morrison Stadium.
Bluejay goalie Alex Bolowich (five saves) and his counterpart John Berner (six saves) controlled the game until Ribeiro's header from 10 yards out a 105:53 broke the scoreless tie.
The win lifted the Jays to 7-3-2 and 1-0-1 in the Missouri Valley Conference. SIUE fell to 8-4-0 and 0-1-0 in the MVC.
