Missouri State Blanks Bluejays 1-0
Rachel Weimer's goal in the 34th minute stood up as Missouri State edged Creighton 1-0 Sunday afternoon in Springfield.
Coming off a corner play, Weimer sent a header from Grace Cross past Creighton goalkeeper Katie Jo Swanson at 33:29. Missouri State's Chelsea Voet took care of the rest, making five saves in goal.
The Bluejays are 3-10-2 overall and 0-4-0 in the Missouri Valley Conference. The Bears moved to 8-6-2 on the season and 2-1-1 in the MVC.
