Creighton men's basketball forward Doug McDermott has been
named a part of Sporting News¹ 2013 Pre-Season First Team All-Americans,presented by Gillette Odor Shield.
McDermott put together a statistically amazing sophomore season with 307 field goals and an average of 22.9 points and 8.2 rebounds per game.
Despite a No. 8 seed in the NCAA Tournament last year, Sporting News predicts McDermott will put up even more impressive numbers in his 2013 season‹making him a consensus All-American for the second consecutive year.

Coming off a 29-6 season, Creighton will begin men's basketball practice
with Bluejay Madness on Oct. 12th at 8 pm.
