Former Creighton standout Kyle Korver now has his name in the NBA record books.
The Atlanta Hawks forward tied Dana Barros' 18-year-old record by hitting a 3-pointer in his 89th straight game Wednesday night.
Korver made his first attempt in the game's first minute and finished 6 for 9 from behind the 3-point line in the Hawks' 107-97 win over the Los Angeles Clippers.
He'll go for sole possession of the record Friday night when the Hawks take on the Cleveland Cavaliers.
