The Creighton men's basketball team retained a spot in the USA Today Top 25 Coaches poll released on Monday, dropping five spots to No. 24. The Bluejays also dropped six spots from No. 20 to the top spot among those "receiving votes" outside the Top 25 in the Associated Press poll.

Creighton's opponent tonight, Villanova, moved up to fourth in the coaches poll and was fifth in the AP edition. The Wildcats will be the highest-ranked foe that Creighton has faced in the regular-season since 1983 (No. 4 DePaul), and gives CU the potential to match its highest-ranked victory in program history (No. 4 Arizona State in 1963).

Creighton is also 15th in this week's RPI, a two-spot improvement from last week. Villanova is second in the RPI.

In the latest NCAA statistics, three Creighton seniors are ranked in the top-10 in various categories, while the team ranks among the top-nine in nine different categories.

Ethan Wragge is third in three-point field goal percentage, fifth in three-pointers made and sixth in three-pointers per game. Doug McDermott ranked second in points per game, third in points scored and third in field goals made. Jahenns Manigat ranks fifth in assist/turnover ratio.

As a team, Creighton leads the nation in three-pointers made, assists per game and assist/turnover ratio. The Bluejays are third in assists, three-pointers per game and three-point field goal percentage, eighth in three-pointers attempted, ninth in scoring margin and ninth in free-throw percentage.
