Nebraska Head Volleyball Coach John Cook had a close call on Wednesday morning. A University of Nebraska Athletic Department spokesman said Cook was hit by a car, while riding his bike.The accident happened near 84th street and Old Cheney road. Cook cracked his helmet and fell on his right shoulder. Lincoln Police said Cook did not receive any serious injuires.Cook did attend the Nebraska volleyball practice in the afternoon. Police ticketed the driver of the car.
