Nebraska Falls To Razorbacks In Double Overtime

The Nebraska women took undefeated Arkansas to double overtime before losing 2-1 Sunday afternoon in Fayetteville.

Ashleigh Ellenwood gave Arkansas a 1-0 lead just 2:26 into the game when she split the defense, driving left of center and powered the ball passed NU goalkeeper Emma Stevens for her fourth goal of the year.

The Huskers finally broke through at the 80:48 mark as Hannah Dittmar put in her own rebound for her first goal of the year and third career tally.

At the 103:03 mark, Evan Palmer one-touched a pass from inside the left goal box to the center from Rachel Riggs for the game winner.

The Huskers (2-2-1) out-shot UA (6-0) 21-13, 6-5 in shots on goal.
