The Huskers finished its week of preparation for Friday's game at Iowa with a 90-minute practice on Wednesday.
“It’s been a short week, but we’ve got to be ready to go," said head coach Bo Pelini. "I thought we had a really good day today.” He believes even though the team had a short week of practice, the Huskers have responded well to the odd scheduled week.
“Yeah I thought we have had a good week, good attention to detail. We got a lot done, we had a little bit extra of walk through time today. I feel good where we are.”
With five wins in a row, Pelini believes his team has confidence heading into the final regular season game, hopefully leading to the Big Ten Championship game. “I like their approach. I think they understand what we have in front of us, living in the here and now.”
Kickoff between the Huskers and Hawkeyes will be at 11 a.m.
