Iowa Western won the Junior College World Series title on Saturday night in Grand Junction, Colorado. The Reivers scored two runs in the top of the 9th inning to edge San Jacinto 6-5 in the championship game.
Iowa Western's Keaton Steele hit a two-run-homer to give the Reivers an early lead in the game. But San Jacinto came back to score two runs in the 7th inning to take a 5-4 lead.
Iowa Western rallied in the final inning to win the national title.
Iowa Western lost thjeir first game in the tournament and came back to win five straight games for the championship.
Iowa Western finished with a record of 62-6.
