Westside Loses to Michigan 4-3 in Legion World Series

Westside (KB Building Services) lost to Michigan 4-3 in the semi-finals of the American Legion Baseball World Series on Monday night. Westside finished the season with a record of 59-6.
Starting pitcher Jake Meyers started the game on the mound and also hit a solo home run to give Westside a 2-0 lead.
Michigan rallied to take the lead 3-2 in the 7th inning. Westside came back to load up the bases in the bottom of the 9th inning. But they hit a fly ball to leftfield to end the game.
Michigan will play New Jersey for the championship on Tuesday night.
