The Maverick women had a 15-2 shot advantage and a 9-1 edge in shots on goal, yet dropped their season finale 1-0 to North Dakota State Sunday afternoon at the UNO Soccer Field.
Jenna Miller finished off a centering pass from Anisha Kinnarath for the game's only goal in the 57th minute, her first of the season.
The Mavs end the season with a 3-15 record and 3-5 in their first year in The Summit League. NDSU improved to 8-9 overall and 5-3 in conference play. The win assured the Bison of a spot in The Summit League championship.
