UNO scored five runs in the eighth to beat host Oakland (Mich.) 7-2 Saturday afternoon.

The Golden Grizzlies (15-32, 10-12 Summit League) took a 1-0 lead in the third and the Mavericks (22-21, 15-5 Summit League) tied it in the fifth. Oakland would add another run in the sixth for a 2-1 lead.

An infield single by Caleb Palensky put runners at first and third and Cole Gruber singled in Schultz to make it 6-2.
