Jimmy Martinez scored the game's only goal to give UC Riverside a 1-0 win over visiting UNO Sunday afternoon.
The Mavericks (2-4) out-shot the Highlanders (7-0) 6-1 in the final 15 minutes, including a hit post by Emir Alihodzic in the 85th minute.
Martinez scored in the 41st minute when he got past the defense and received a flicked pass from Otis Earle and put the ball in the net.
For the match, UC Riverside out-shot UNO 15-14 overall and 7-4 in shots on goal.
