Two Husker football players have run afoul of the law in the past week.
UNL Campus Police say 19-yearold Boaz Joseph, a defensive back who redshirted last season, stole a "bait bike" used to catch bicycle thieves on campus. Through GPS installed on the bike, officers were able to locate Joseph, who was cited last Saturday for theft by unlawful taking.
On Thursday, an officer investigating a report of someone smoking marijuana near the Vine Street Fields saw 18-year-old Jariah Tolbert, a freshman receiver, who took off running. A second officer was able to apprehend Tolbert, who was arrested for obstructing a police officer and cited for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
