Tomasevicz Ends Olympic Career With Bronze Medal

The U.S. four-man bobsled team that includes Shelby, Nebraska native and former Husker Curt Tomasevicz won the bronze medal Sunday, finishing third behind Russia 1 and Latvia 1 on the final day of the Winter Olympic Games at Sochi.

The United States 1 crew of Steven Holcomb, Steve Langton, Chris Fogt and Tomasevicz clinched a medal in a time of 3:40.99, only 0.03 seconds ahead of fourth-place Russia 2.

The 33-year-old Tomasevicz, who won gold in the 2010 winter games in Vancouver, announced afterward this would be his last Olympics.
