Omaha's Justin Marks and Kelvin Herrera combined to shut down Round Rock 2-0 Saturday night at Werner Park.
With two outs in the third, Christian Colon doubled and scored on a Max Ramirez single. In the sixth, Ramirez greeted reliever Ryan Rodebaugh with a double. He took third on Ben Broussard's ground out to first. After Anthony Seratelli walked, Irving Falu reached on a fielder's choice that allowed Ramirez to score.
Marks (4-9) and Herrera did the rest. Marks gave up six hits and three walks in seven innings, striking out five. Herrera pitched the last two innings, striking out three batters.
Brad Mills (7-5) took the loss for the Express.
