The Omaha Storm Chasers officially unveiled their 2013 schedule on Thursday.
The season begins on April 4th at Round Rock and the Chasers will return home for their third Opening Night at Werner Park on Friday, April 12th against Nashville.
The Albuquerque Isotopes, Omaha's 2012 American Conference Championship Series opponent, will visit Werner Park for four games from Tuesday, April 16th through Friday, April 19th to complete the first home stand of the year and will return from Tuesday, June 18th through Friday, June 21st.
The New Orleans Zephyrs, the Triple-A affiliate of the Miami Marlins, will help the Storm Chasers celebrate Independence Day a day early as they are in town for three games from Monday, July 1st through Thursday, July 3rd. As always, the game scheduled for July 3rd will feature a 20-plus minute Independence Day-themed fireworks display.
The Iowa Cubs will visit Werner Park for a total of eight games with four-game series scheduled for Thursday, April 25th through Sunday, April 28th and Thursday, June 27th through Sunday, June 30th.
The 2013 season will wind down at home with a four-game set against Round Rock from Friday, August 30th through the final day of the regular season on Monday, September 2nd.
Should Omaha reach the post-season for the third consecutive year, Werner Park would host game three and, if necessary, games four and five of the American Conference Championship Series. Should the Chasers win the American Conference title and advance to the Pacific Coast League Championship Series, Werner Park would play host to games one and two.
