Storm Chasers Knock Nashville 8-3

Left fielder David Lough had a single, double and home run with a walk, three RBIs and two runs scored as the Storm Chasers powered their way past the Sounds 8-3 Sunday afternoon in Nashville.

Omaha took a 2-0 lead in the second as Brett Hayes doubled, Chad Tracy walked and Irving Falu singled for one run. Lough later singled home Tracy.

The Chasers made it 4-0 an inning later. With two men out, Anthony Seratelli walked and stole second. Hayes brought him in with a single. Tracy then doubled home Hayes. Lough's first homer of the season in the fourth made it 5-0 Omaha.

Leading 5-1 in the eighth, the Storm Chasers scored three runs. Tracy singled and his pinch-runner Brandon Wood would move to second on a Paulo Orlando single. Lough then doubled in Wood and Christian Colon singled in Orlando. Lough scored on a Johnny Giavotella single.

The Sounds made some noise in the ninth. Caleb Gindl singled in a run and Anderson De La Rosa doubled him home.

Chris Dwyer (3-1) pitched 6.2 innings for the win, giving up a run on five hits, striking out two and walking three. Tyler Thornburg (0-2) went five, charged with five runs on nine hits, striking out three and walking two.
