A young man whose allegations of sexual abuse triggered the criminal investigation into former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky is appearing on national television to talk about his ordeal.
A pre-recorded interview with 18-year-old Aaron Fisher aired on a Friday morning news program.
Fisher says he was 11 when he met Sandusky and was abused during weekend visits at the Sandusky home.
As a teenager, Sandusky was a volunteer coach at Fisher's high school. Fisher says he told the school principal and others about the abuse, but nothing was done. He also spoke to People magazine.
The interview airs a day after Sandusky launched his effort to overturn his child sexual abuse convictions with a set of motions alleging there was insufficient evidence and he received an unfair trial.
