Omaha took a 1-0 lead at 14:08 of the opening period when a Connor Chatham shot produced a rebound that was promptly tapped in by Tyler Hynes. Drew Melanson's ninth goal of the season at 11:15 of the second period made it a 2-0 game.
The Stampede got on the board at the 16:53 mark as Dennis Kravchenko finished a two-on-one transition rush with his 16th of the year. They would tie it 16:29 into period three on a Todd Skirving goal.
With just :38 left, Randolph swatted a loose puck out of midair and into the net for for his 10th goal of the season.
