Taylor Niewoit's goal just :58 into the second overtime gave Purdue a 2-1 win over Nebraska Friday evening in Lincoln.
The Huskers (4-5-1, 1-1-0 Big Ten) struck first when Mayme Conroy put in her team-leading fifth goal of the season. Following a corner kick from Caroline Gray, both Ari Romero and Jaylyn Odermann headed the ball before Conroy struck the back of the net to put NU up 1-0 at the 24:25 mark.
Alex Hairston tied it on an unassisted goal at 50:31.
Nebraska held a 15-10 advantage in shots, including 10 on goal, but was only able to get one past Purdue (6-3-1, 1-1-0 Big Ten) goalie Clara Kridler.
