Michael Phelps is coy about how much swimming he'll be doing at the U.S. Olympic Trials that begin next week at CenturyLink Center Omaha.
Phelps entered seven events, but won't say if he plans to stick with his very first race, the 400-meter individual medley on Monday.
After winning his second-straight gold in the grueling event at Beijing, Phelps vowed he was done with the 400 IM. Then, over the past year, he began dabbling with it again. When the entry list came out a few days ago, Phelps' name was on the list of potential competitors. He has until Sunday afternoon to decide if he's going to stick with it.
Phelps wouldn't reveal his plans Saturday. He even skirted a question about when he's going to shave his mustache, saying that might give away his intentions.
