Oklahoma State swept two from the Huskers Saturday afternoon at TD Ameritrade Park Omaha, winning 5-3 and 4-0.

Nebraska took a 3-2 lead into the eighth inning of game one, but the Cowboys tied it and then won it with two runs in the 10th on four hits, including a pair of doubles. Nebraska has lost 12 games this season by two runs or less.

NU had the potential go-ahead run at third base with two outs in the bottom of the eighth and ninth innings, but were unable to come through with a clutch hit. Brendan McCurry (5-2) got the win and Josh Roeder (0-3) took the loss.

OSU starter Tyler Nurdin threw a complete-game shutout in the second game. Nurdin (1-2) allowed just four hits and no walks while striking out four. The sophomore retired the Huskers (19-23) in order seven times.

Tyler Niederklein (0-1) struck out a season-high five in a season-high 5.0 innings of work, charged with one run on four hits and three walks.

Rick Stover homered for the Cowboys (31-11), only the fourth home run in 16 games at TD Ameritrade Park this season.
