More Tickets Available For 2013 Senior Open

A limited number of additional grounds tickets for the 2013 U.S. Senior Open, to be staged at Omaha Country Club July 8th-14th, were released for purchase on Wednesday.

The United States Golf Association will conduct the national championship for the first time in the state of Nebraska.

Limited quantities of four-day ticket packages (Four Pack) are now available while supplies last. The Four Pack includes one ticket for each of the championship rounds on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday for $150.

“Following the overwhelming response for tickets we wanted to find a way to allow for more spectators to enjoy this National Championship,” said Senior Director of the U.S. Senior Open Tim Flaherty, who noted that weekly ticket packages and trophy club tickets had each sold out earlier this year. “We took a good look at the golf course and we are confident that we can provide a quality experience for a limited number of additional spectators.”

Tickets may be purchased through the official ticket outlets at any Baker’s or Dillons Supermarkets throughout the Midwest or online at www.2013ussenioropen.com. Kids 17 and under are admitted free with a ticketed adult.

The 34th U.S. Senior Open will feature a field of 156 of the world’s best professional and amateur senior golfers (over the age of 50). Players expected to compete include Fred Couples, Fred Funk, Bernhard Langer, Tom Lehman, Vijay Singh and Tom Watson.

The U.S. Senior Open will be the first ever USGA championship hosted by Omaha Country Club. NBC and ESPN will provide more than 16 hours of live television coverage of all four rounds of the championship.
