Millard West won the Nebraska High School State Championship in Lacrosse Monday night. The Wildcats beat Creighton Prep 11-2 in a weather delayed game.
Sunday evening’s severe storm abruptly ended the game at Prep after only five minutes of play. When the game resumed Monday night, Millard West was ahead 2-0. Under a sunny sky, Millard West poured it on. Tanner Lerdahl had four goals and two assists to help his team win the championship.
