Millard West Tops Class A In Football Rankings

Here are The Associated Press Nebraska high school football rankings based on a formula that includes ratings from the Omaha World-Herald and Lincoln Journal Star plus experts for each class.

They include Dale Miller of the Grand Island Independent for Class A, Jeff Fielder from the Scottsbluff Star-Herald for Class B, Tom Behmer of the Norfolk Daily News for Class C1, Brent Wasinius from the Fremont Tribune for Class C2, Mark Obermeier of the North Platte Telegraph for Class D1 and Nick Blasnitz from the Hastings Tribune for Class D2.

CLASS A
1. Millard West (1-0), def. Lincoln Southeast 38-6
2. Creighton Prep (1-0), def. Omaha Burke 25-7
