The UNO hockey team, coming off a sweep of visiting Colorado College last weekend, moved up in both weekly college hockey polls.
The Mavericks are ranked 13th in the polls put out by website USCHO.com and by USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine. The ranking represents a move of three spots in the USCHO.com poll and a jump of two spots in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll.
The top five of both polls are nearly identical. USCHO.com's top 20 poll has Minnesota first followed by Boston College, Notre Dame, New Hamshire and Quinnipiac. The USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll has the same five teams but has Notre Dame second and Boston College third.
