The Mavericks completed a weekend sweep over Bradley with an 11-6 win Sunday afternoon in Peoria.
The Braves (20-16) went up 2-0 in the first on Chris Godinez's home run and Max Murphy's triple followed by Greg Partyka's RBI ground out. Isaac Smith made it 3-0 with a third-inning homer.
UNO (19-13) came back to tie the game in the fifth. Daniel Jewett and Tyler Splichal drew walks and Andrew Dergan's sacrifice put runners in scoring position. Collin Leif then singled in Jewett and Clayton Taylor doubled home two more to tie the game.
BU went back up 5-3 in the bottom of the frame as Smith scored on Spencer Gaa's sacrifice fly and Murphy came in on Tyler Leffler's single to center.
The eighth inning saw Omaha power past the Braves with eight runs on eight hits. The Mavs batted around with all but one player scoring a run. Taylor notched a double, a single, a run scored and another driven in while Brett Bass had a pair of singles, two RBIs and a run scored. Caleb Palensky accounted for two runs driven in, a double and a run scored.
Bradley managed a final run in the ninth with Smith coming in on Murphy's sacrifice fly.
Dylan Casey (2-0) picked up the win in relief, throwing two scoreless innings allowing one hit and one walk with two strikeouts. Stephen Toma (2-4) took the loss, surrendering four runs on six hits and one walk in 2.1 innings of relief.
