The Maverick women played Missouri State to a 1-1 tie Sunday afternoon at the UNO Soccer Field.
The Bears (3-7-1) took a 1-0 lead in the 66th minute. Goalie Meaghan Clark made a save, but the rebound bounced out to Michelle Mayne-Nicholls, who put the ball just inside the left post from 15 yards.
The Mavericks (2-5-2) answered on Monica Bosiljevac's goal in the 69th minute. It was Bosiljevac's third goal of the season and second in as many games.
In overtime, the Bears out-shot the Mavs 4-1, but Clark saved both attempts on goal. MSU out-shot UNO 17-11 overall and 7-6 in shots on goal. Clark finished with six saves.
