The Mavericks jumped to an early lead with a 10-2 spurt fueled by back-to-back Carter three-pointers and took a 50-41 advantage into the break. Central Arkansas (2-8) narrowed the gap midway through the second half on a Jalen Jackson layup that made it 63-61. But Omaha responded with a 17-8 run and then continued steadily pulling away.
