Lancers Skate By Sioux Falls 4-2

Alex Lyon made 37 saves while the Lancers went 4-for-4 on the penalty kill in preserving a 4-2 victory at Sioux Falls Friday night.

Omaha took a 1-0 lead at 8:03 of the first on Gage Hough's 10th goal of the season. It became a 2-0 game at 13:48 when Tyler Moy unleashed a backhand shot that rattled off the crossbar before settling in the net. Seconds later, Hough snapped in his second goal of the period and 11th of the season at 14:14 to give the Lancers a 3-0 lead.

Omaha added to the lead early in the second period when Grant Besse fired in his second goal in four games since joining the team.

The Stampede got goals from Sam Rothstein at 17:33 of period two and Dennis Kravchenko :55 into the third.
