Lancers Shut Out In Indiana, Fall To 0-2

Dalton Izyk made 18 saves in a 2-0 shutout of the Lancers Saturday night in Indianapolis to drop Omaha to 0-2 on the young season.

The Ice broke the ice in the second period when a loose puck scramble in the slot landed on the stick of Brian Morgan who put it in the net at 4:07.

A two-on-one between Austin Ortega and Robbie Baillargeon resulted in Ortega’s second goal of the season at 17:56 to make it 2-0.

The Ice out-shot Omaha 33-18.
