The puck drops for real Friday night in Youngstown, Ohio as the Omaha Lancers open the 2012-13 regular season against the Phantoms.
The Lancers then play at Indiana on Saturday. Omaha plays its first eight games on the road before the home opener October 26th at the new Ralston Arena against the Tri-City Storm.
The Lancers finished preseason play with a 4-1 record.
