The Lancers held off the Stars 3-2 Friday night in Lincoln.
The Stars struck first on a goal by Phillip Marinaccio just 1:33 into the game. The Lancers tied it on Ryan Tait’s unassisted goal at the 6:46 mark and took a 2-1 lead on Tucker Poolman’s power play goal at 15:58.
After a scoreless second period, Omaha went up 3-1 at 10:09 of period three on an unassisted goal by Dominic Racobaldo. Tommy Schutt scored for Lincoln at 11:55 of the third to close the gap to 3-2.
