Taking charge at the top of the lane, California Chrome and jockey Victor Espinoza make a decisive move and quickly sprinted clear. The 5-2 favorite stretched his winning streak to five and Art Sherman became the oldest winning Derby trainer at 77.
Commanding Curve was second, Danza finished third and Wicked Strong came in fourth.
